From a new Ipsos-Reid Poll, reported here among other places. A number which is bound to go lower. Support for the extension is highest in Alberta (66%), and lowest in Quebec (27%). Nothing too surprising there.
Perhaps the people in Quebec picked up on Harper's lies about what he is going to do.He pulled the wool over all of us, while pretending "extension", whereas it it really means more fighting, which I do not agree with.
Ahhh Lieberals . . . you guys just love sitting around up to your corrupt eyeballs in your own shit, wondering why the people of Canada have banished you to the dog house . . . you seriously need to get with the program.
I'll come back later with the newest popularity poll numbers for ya, but I'll just say thank you now becuase the mroe you twist and distort, lie and steal, teh more popular PMSH gets.
Thank you for helping our cause :)

OTTAWA - Support for Canada's troops in Afghanistan remains relatively high, according to a new poll, which shows 57% of respondents backing the mission despite an increase in casualties.
The National Post poll, by Ipsos Reid, found support up slightly from a pair of Ipsos Reid polls in March, which showed 54% and 52% approval ratings.

ReplyDeleteAnd apparently the next troop rotation will involve more soldiers from Quebec.
ReplyDeleteOh, that would be a big mistake. You can't get Quebeckers to respond seriously to mauldlin sentiment about war at all.

Same poll, anon. The numbers you quote are for the "mission" not for the "mission extension".
ReplyDeleteWhat is it the anonymous ones who are always so brilliant? Go figure.
ReplyDeleteWow...it goes to show that Albertans will support a potato sack as long as it has that sexy 'Conservative' symbol on it!
