They're Gonna Show These During The Superbowl?

Messaging aside, the now infamous Tory attack ads look like they were put together by a grade-schooler using sound equipment from 1940s Czechoslovakia. And this is probably insulting to grade-schoolers, as I have seen far cleverer stuff on YouTube.

It will be truly bizarre to see these bargain-basement efforts up against Pepsi and Budweiser, and I imagine the response of most Canadian football fans when they come on will be that its a good time to take a whizz.

They reek of a quickie hack job, and it makes you wonder if the Tories have all that much cash to spend after all. It sure ain't up there on the screen.

The captions were wrong - they should have read "HARPER ADMITS FAILURE AND DESPARATION AND IS IN PANIC MODE TO TRASH THE OPPOSITION"

    Now, that's the facts.

Look up low production values and their effect on messaging.

Also look up how those same low production values effect the preceptions of the producer.

As for Liberals attacking Liberals, that is otherwise known as debate, which is something as foreign as a French citizen to Conservatives.

Anyone notice how the CPC website is starting to look like a bitter teens myspace page, with its poorly done attack ad/graphics?

Every time I have seen these ads so far, equal time has been given to Iggy, Ujhal, or to Stephane's web "rebuttal". This attempt on the CPC's part is going to fail miserably. By the time they actually air people most people would have already seen them in this context.

They made a bad mistake by saying they were doing this to go above so-called "liberal media". Media seems to not have liked this.

The real message here is that the Conservatives are anti-football.
