When Dinosaurs Attack!

Cassowaries are a group of large flightless birds native to New Guinea and Northern Australia.

They are also the model paleontologist use when they try and conceptualize how Dromaeosaurs, a small clade of dinosaurs, including the "Raptors" you might remember from Jurassic Park, made use of their foot claws.

In this YouTube video, some fellow from "Wildboyz" goes one-on-one with a cassowary and nearly gets his nuts removed. His would not have been the first human death attributed to one of these vicious beasts. As Australian naturalists will tell you, you don't mess with a Cassowary.
