Red Tory wonders why the
Canadian Renewable Fuels Association is running ads promiting ethanol as a green fuel and at the same time providing "free advertising", as RT says, for the Harper government. Well, Red, that's because, as you say, the CRFA is a "consortium of leviathan agri-business" like
Archer Daniels Midland, and if you look at
ADM's BOD, you find the name
M(artin) Brian Mulroney. Does that name sound familiar?
Good catch.
ReplyDeleteAs I've pointed out before, the CRFA is quite a rogue’s gallery of corporate welfare bums. Figures that Mulroney would be involved somehow. :-)
S'all right. Rex Murphy just gave a backhanded review of Dion and says he's a major contender.
ReplyDeleteGoes to show that you can never ever judge a book by it's cover.
My read on Dion is he is not into corporate welfare bums, unless of course they are environmentally and fiscally responsible, and on track to become viable as standalone business.
If that be so, this Canadian is on board!
