Connie Fournier of FreeDominion is going back to the well one more time.
We need another $3000 to keep the legal boat afloat. Our opponents have deeper pockets than we do, but we'll keep going as long as we can. Maximum disruption times three
So far they have raised $2,200 in pledges--hypothetical and probably largely imaginary money, in other words..
Any money they spend on supporting FD is money they can't spend where it may have some impact.
ReplyDeleteEventually they'll lose, of course, and then Connie will con their foolish supporters into paying their award to Warman and Kinsella.
Life in Connie's world. What colour is the sky?
ReplyDelete"If the CPC won't do something about the corruption in their own Commission, we'll have to ask the Liberals for help. I'm sure they'll be happy to score some political points by doing the right thing."

Yup. The Liberals are going to attack the Conservatives for being against Nazis, racists and homophobes. And this will score them some political points - with WHO? Racist lunatics?
I sense a certain desperation.
ReplyDeleteI know, but I try to cover it up with sarcasm.
ReplyDeleteActually, from them, not you.
ReplyDelete(I also hear they will be using B. Kulaszka as their lawyer. They had another guy named Ken Bickley, who doesn't seem to be involved any more. If not, I wonder what happened?)
Um, I know you meant them!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to guess, either they or he realized that he, being a normal, respectable lawyer would be completely out of his depth in a "defending lunatic nutbars who are clearly guilty of libel case."
He may well have told them something they didn't want to hear, like "You have absolutely no chance of prevailing and my fees alone are going to be in the tens of thousands if you are lucky. Your only option is to print a full retraction and apology and take action to ensure Kinsella and Warman are not libelled again on your site."
Connie prefers to be told what she wants to hear and needs a lawyer as devoted to "free speech" as she and Marc Lemire are.
