Details of Tax shift plan that CBC has "learned of" here. 10% across the board income tax cuts; tax credits and other help for Northern and rural Canadians. Etc. Quite defensible, in short.
they are saying 1% approx for each tax bracket?....while I support a carbon tax, 1% of my salary is $250. Unfortunately, because of the high gas/oil prices, my rent went up 70 bucks a month due to heating costs. How much is it going to go up after prices increase yet again? That alone, without factoring in price of food that has gone up, gas, bus tickets etc..... has already put me in the hole almost $600 if that's the tax cut I get.
There has to be better incentives for consumers willing to go green......
It won't be 10 percent accross the board.
ReplyDeleteHSSSS! I smell a MOLE!
ReplyDeleteBut on the other hand across the board is probably not the answer.
Moley. Moley. Moley. Moooooole.
