Macleans Magazine Loses Its CHRC Complaint

...by winning its CHRC complaint! Read the new release! They're pissed! Yo Mark! Kenneth! Time to dismantle the old crucifixes and go home.

Mind you there's still the BCHRC version of this complaint going, and therefore one more chance at glorious martyrdom, but I suspect Bourrie's gonna owe me a big $20. Start saving your pennies, Mark.

  1. Good for you, Macleans. And the hundreds of thousands of dollars this all costs you can be balanced out against the 3+ million you hoover out of the Publications Assistance Program every year, so you're still ahead. This, unfortunately, remains your problem:

"The decision is in keeping with our long-standing position that the article in question, "The Future Belongs to Islam," an excerpt from Mark Steyn's best-selling book America Alone, was a worthy piece of commentary on important geopolitical issues, entirely within the bounds of normal journalistic practice."

Sadly, no. A racist polemic is not journalism.

  2. I've written Vernier's office several times about the PAP subsidy thing and have gotten no response. There seems to be no procedure for making a complaint.

Also, are you the X-Seminarian Catholic Insite mentions who was trying to take away their subsidy?

Are you referring to this, which is about a human rights complaint by Rob Wells? Or something else?

Anyway, no. I'd be the last person to attend a seminary.

It's really difficult to take on these issues because these types lie so damn much. Even The Catholic Register has to condemn them for their dishonesty and their hate-mongering.

  5. Same case different story. They mention another person giving them a hard time over PAP subsidies (something that Wells also complained about).

  6. Poor logic ti-guy. Frivolous complaints of this nature should not cost any company large amounts of money.

Lastly ti-guy, you seem to still believe Macleans has a "problem". They don't.

LOL. He's probably at his cabin. Try again in a couple of years.

Possibly a novel HRC complaint might work.

  8. They're censoring my posts at DeSmogBlog at the moment ti-guy. I had the temerity to post something factual that conflicted with one of their doomsday blogs.

  9. I had the temerity to post something factual...

The report from your court-ordered psychiatric assessment?

You still don't know what censoring means, do you?

Hmmm. I have this strange feeling you are going to "enlighten" me ti-guy.
