  1. Only in left wing San Fran would the liberation of Iraq been seen as "sewage" material.

  2. Hey, people need sewers too. They can't all be water purification facilities.

  3. This is a hoot--I'll be following the developments with interest.

Reminds me of an old Kliban cartoon--"The Nixon Memorial." It's a hole in the ground.

  4. I hope some weak-kneed prissy San Francisco librul (I'm looking at you, Pelosi) doesn't start going on about "civility."

  6. It being a secret ballot, Pelosi will be able to vote for it even while keeping her lip zipped.

Like many things that begin in SF, this could become a trend that sweeps across the continent. Toronna being on the cutting edge of all things Canadian, why not jump the geographic queue and start thinking about something to rename now? Sure, another sewage plant could be chosen, but that's *so* 2008. How about a rendering plant? Morgue? Conrad Black's house? Saskatchewan? C'mon, be creative!

  7. We could name the outbreak of an antibiotic resistant hospital infection after Stephen Harper.

  8. As Kalifornia slids into the economic sewer, who cares what the crazies in San Fran call anything.
The call Illegal Aliens citizens of San Fran . . . give them driver's licences and welfare.
LA is already lost, will San Fran be far behind?
The Governator can't seem to get his head out of his ass or is that his Prius?
