The Shorter Jago: My Prank Site Sucked

...and I'm throwing in the towel.

Actually, Robert is trying to sell his steaming pile for "a $10,000 donation towards Ms. Wright’s legal fees."

Tell you what, Bob, I'll offer you a stale pretzel and a bowl of soup. How about that?

  1. This is what Thomas Frank called political entrepreneurship in The Wrecking Crew. I hope Jago isn't having prophetic dreams featuring Jack Abramoff or Ralph Reed.

  8. What a shame. I was prepared to drop dead in the event that one of BCL's trolls actually wrote something witty.

    Too bad, eh?

  9. BCL - "Pity, I thought the last one rather clever."

Well yes, it was hard to complain about something insulting ti-guy, but as I'm not a Conservative I was obliged to act on general principles, instead of just calling an election.

Are you kidding? That site kicked ass. It got 6,000 hits, 200+ people in the facebook group, it was featured in a national newspaper and I've heard 2nd hand that it was mentioned favourably on a few national radio shows.

As for the $10,000 price thing - that's up there to show that I won't sell it. I will give it away at cost to any gay or lesbian group looking to replicate the victoryfund.org here in Canada. But otherwise I want to hold on to the URI. There's just so much more that can be done with it.
