Terrence, I thought there might be an anti-Muslim thing in there too, because of those recent stories in the TO newspapers (this summer I think it was).
While it's certainly true he would (and has) sell us out for a cheeseburger (OK, a few dozen cheeseburgers), we don't actually know that he's self-hating.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like the anti-polygamy measure was a compromise between the "we-hate-homos" wing of the CPC and the "gays-just-make-us-uncomfortable" wing.
