Jay Currie, on who's winning the Speechy Wars:
So, while we appreciate the polite efforts and advice of the adults, excuse us while we play a winning game. And, yo, adults, the fact is that a fair number of us speechers have a fair bit of experience in politics, journalism, publishing, marketing, organization and public relations. Possibly more than you do.
Here's more Jay Currie, on what it would take to finally win the Speechy Wars:
All Nicholson has to do is insert one line into the throne speech and introduce a three line bill [striking down section 13 of the CHA] which already has a measure of bi-partisan support. And do it in the face of an entirely disorganized Opposition which is terrified of an election. How hard can that be?
And here's what the throne speech said about section 13:
All quiet over in the Speechysphere. Its as though they don't yet realize, after all the work they put into passing p-203 at the Tory convention, that they've been sodomized again.
Anyway, thanks for sharing your awesome genius with us, Jay.
Be fair, BCL. How could they discuss Section 13 in the Throne Speech with so much time taken up by C-484?
ReplyDeleteWhat? That wasn't mentioned either?
What? The removal of gender equality wasn't either?
You'd almost think the Winnipeg convention was a shallow exercise in letting rubes blow off steam while bilking them of their money.
Jay is a coward to boot. He has been asked countless times to verify allegations he has repeated about the CJC from a hard left activist, Diane Ralph. Ms. Ralph claimed that Bernie Farber and Ed Morgan of the CJC publically at a CJC plenary claimed that it has been trying to make criticsm of Israel and Zionism a "hate crime".
ReplyDeletePeople who were at this plenary and have commented on sites where Currie repeated this nonsense claim its a lie that neither gentlemen ever said such a thing. Clearly Farber of all people, an expert on hate crime and Morgan Canada's most eminent constitutional lawyers and a human rights advocate would never make such a stupid statement.
Currie has not backed off. He was asked to contatc Farber and he refuses wanting to speak instaed to Ralph.
Why is Currie so afraid of speaking to Farber at the CJC? Why, because he prefers to repeat lies and innuendo (a tatctic of the Speechies) to try and deflate reputations. Shame on him!
There's some fun in the comments section over at Jay "Twit" Currie's. "Five Feet of Failure." Heh.
ReplyDeleteShe even got fired from the outfit that prints those little pamphlets you get at Church that nobody reads.
