Spoke to The Agenda Executive producer Dan Dunsky on my lunch break, and was told that he was "aware" of the stuff "floating about" on-line. Ms. Shaidle will be on The Agenda this evening.
A humanist league spokesperson I believe. One of the Prog Bloggers is a friend of his. That person has been made aware of what Shaidle has said online and the campaign to remove her.. so we'll see if he brings any of that up.
They'll probably agree beforehand not to bring it up.
Let's hope the atheist/believer dichotomy addresses morality, which would provide a perfect opportunity to bring up Fräulein Schädl's utter lack of it, Catholic, secular/humanist or otherwise.
I don't quite understand what the fuss is about...I seriously hope she does go on TVO to discuss her "views", as long as Paiken does his job.
People like her need to be publicly displayed and humiliated for her views and be shown for the whack-job they are, rather than let them continue to post her kind of drivel with impunity behind their keyboards...

The problem is, she isn't going on to discuss that stuff - she never is. Rather its about the Atheist bus sign thing. She will be, once again, merely labeled a "religious writer" (which is like saying The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is "religious writing"). They don't invite her on about free speech, nor do they invite her on about her view of Muslims, Indians or blacks.
They pretend she is merely a "religious writer" that somehow represents Catholics. she gets to garner credibility while sidestepping any examination and criticism of her ludicrous views and opinions.
Well, she's welcome to do that crap oh her blog, but not on a station supported by my tax dollars without my say.

Last time she was on with Warren K., Robert Buckman and a few others to discuss secularism...and she was labeled a "religious writer". Hell the still point to Relaspsed Catholic rather than Five Feet of Fury in their Bio...
Mike, while I understand where you all are coming from, I think this can provide a forum to show the disconnect between her as a "religious" writer and her "racism", particularly if they (the Agenda) extend the invitation to Muslims and Jews.
And if they give her a "by" by lobbing softballs, then it underlines that TVO/Paikin have issues in credibility that need to be addressed.

Again, I agree. I'm just dunbfounded that TVO hasn't figured out that she is a cockroach considering all the light that has been shined on her over the last 5 years.

Two years ago a Catholic Publisher in Poland was advertising on her site. I made them aware of her intolerant views; as a result they removed their advertising from her hate site. I've not visited the site since that time. If there's still ads on the site, the kind of outrage seen today can be directed at her advertisers possibly even folks she links to. BTW, she considers herself a CATHOLIC? !??
She wasn't married in the Catholic Church. So basically, she's been fornicating (one assumes) and her sugar da...er...husband, whose first marriage was not annulled, is committing adultery.
As an atheist I cant think of anyone I'd rather be a panelist for the "pro-god" side on the Agenda. The woman couldnt form a logical argument to save her life.
I bet her next post features a vicious diatribe directed at the other guests, especially the woman, Gretta Vosper, though she'll probably makes charges of sexual inadequacy against the men as well.
Hmm. .why don't you file it, then, instead of going around to every progressive/Liberal blog who blogged about this and leaving the exact same message?
