Steyn's Back

...and he's boring.

A hint, Mark: "ecopalypse" has nothing going for it. Try "Warmocaust", or "Warmageddon", and refer to environmentalists as "Green Shirts". That brings the yucks every time.

On the upside, there's nothing there that would trigger a questionable content complaint. Steyn and Maclean's get to keep their millions in free government stamps (their PAP subsidy) for another week.

  1. He still attracts a lot of dimwits and hysterics, though. And that's precisely why Macleans publishes him...because it taps into that vein of public apathy that can only be shaken up with pointless controversy.

    Irresponsible. Not worth paying for.

  2. So much effort to silence a legitimate contrarian opinion.

It has been entertaining watching the OHRC humiliating itself on the public stage and all the "tolerant" types working themselves up into an unholy lather.

What will the left do to keep us laughing now?

Yeah right. All that screeching is so easily confused with laughing.

    Stop lying, you little troll.

  4. Well, I think he managed to offend a pretty large demographic group--infertile Canadians. anywhere from 12.5% to 20% of the population at large and growing.

I mean--hello--demographers and scientists all agree that it's not that people can't afford or don't want to have kids; it's that they CAN'T have kids.

Miscarriage, stillbirth, and neonatal deaths are all on the rise. Key markers of the UN human development index by the way. Sperm quality and egg quality is down, worldwide, and no one is tracking it anywhere. No one gives a shit.

But hey ya, Steyn is back and wow, what a great job he did analysing that one! You'd think he was a journalist or something!

In case you are unsure, by the way, discrimination against the disabled is a human rights violation. Not that anyone will give a shit enough to stop him.

  5. ...discrimination against the disabled is a human rights violation...

Does the law cover the rhetorically disabled? Is the act of heaping ridicule upon risibly inept prose stylists like Steyn and Frum actionable?
