ridenrain - Algonquin Park is nice and that's perhaps why Harper has picked the Huntsville/Algonquin region for the next G8 summit. Make fun of Iggy about Algonquin and then pick the area for an Int'l summit - go figure.
Bob - the guy that owned that Chinese restaurant has known Kinsella who's been going to his restaurant for years and knew he was joking and had no problem with it.....too bad Torie's can't grow up.
From what I can see, Ignatieff held a single press event in Gatineau, Quebec--15 fifteen minutes away from downtown Ottawa--and the media outlets Kinsella lists just happened to attend?
That doesn't seem like very good evidence of Ignatieff's busy schedule as leader of the opposition.
All that effort, all that press time and the only news of the day is Harper's economic policy prove correct - the Recession is over and, as predicted, Canada is leading the world economic recovery.
Too bad iggy . . . that's what you get for hiring morons like Kinsella of Cat's Meat fame (or is it Kinsella of ADSCAM fame ?) as your media adviser.
Carry on iggy, your i5 minutes of political honeymoon are over. Turn off the lights when you leave.
When Fred writes about Harper's winning economic strategy, which one is he talking about: the one that has no deficit forecast for Canada; the one unfolded in the house in December that forecasts a small surplus or the one that was forced unto Harper by the previous two positions?
"Harper's economic policy prove correct - the Recession is over and, as predicted, Canada is leading the world economic recovery."
Yeah maybe if all of us were dumb enough to buy what the Bank of Canada is saying. Oh yeah Mark Carney and Stephen Harper have promised me I'll be swimming in money so I better use my home renovation credit to put a pool in the back for all that dosh!
Geez some conservatives (fred) really are that stupid.
Busy morning... then off to a nice Chinese place that Kinsella knows.
ReplyDelete^ Zing!
ReplyDelete...two years from now, the wingnuts will still be talking about that. From the comfort of an internment camp barrack, hopefully.
two? Try more like ten years. Though my money is more on mental hospitals.
ReplyDeletePardon me if I'm a bit suspicious when the only person that's seen him is his PR handler.
ReplyDelete.. but then Algonquin park is mighty nice this time of year.
at least we don't have to see pasty Harper in a speedo or thong.

ReplyDeleteAs opposed to who else?

Wonder if Iggy is pushing his latest book?
ReplyDeleteI'm more worried he's written another book.
ReplyDeleteUnless it's about hockey.
ReplyDeleteJon,
ReplyDeleteVirtual War and Empire Lite aren't bad. My copy of Blood and Belonging is now functioning as a doorstop. The novels... I'm afraid to try the novels.
