NDP Convention: NDP Fails To Even Discuss Only Issue Anyone Cares About

  1. How rude of the NDP to not discuss the only issue you cared about.

  3. Not the only one. How did the thing with the gender neutral toilet work out?

  4. Just out of curiousity, BCL, do you really think denigrating the NDP is a solid strategy for attracting swing voters who have positive opinions of both parties?

Such posts appeal, of course, to diehard Liberals, but the last time I checked, diehard Liberals already vote Liberal.

When you post about the NDP I feel like I'm reading the Blogging Tories.

  5. RB,

If I thought I could serious attract or repel votes I would worry about it. And of course Iggy and the official Lib policy masters assuredly do. But the news is slow and the Tories aren't up to much, so...

  6. The reality, BCL, votes swing from Cons to Libs, and very little from NDP to anywhere else..

As I discovered recently while in Greece, their government is actually headed by the NDP (New Democracy Party) which is described as a "liberal/conservative" party..lol..

The NDP party is a party of national obscurity, for the most part, because they refuse to concede the failure of socialism as a foundation for a healthy society.

Their supporters can get angry all they want for those who point out their obvious inadequacies, but the proof is in the pudding. Name me a single elected NDP Prime Minister... *chirp chirp*..

I'm not particularly convinced that the Liberals or Conservatives don't have some massive shortcomings, but, for the most part, our Country has faired quite well, thank-you, under their combined leadership.

Dana Larsen's stoner friends prevented it from getting to floor out of spite.

  8. "The NDP isn't a Communist party, it is a Social Democracy people."

Whoops, that last word should be party, not people.

Same here. The humour is about as stale as well. BCL can do much better than this.

The joke about the "gender neutral toilet" was funny, but this name change thing got old the first day it was mocked.

  11. It's a pity that the NDP didn't decide to change their name to the Socialist Party of Canada. That way, the federal political parties would be called Conservative, Liberal, Socialist, and Green. All nice and straightforward, if perhaps lacking in originality.

  12. How pathetic to mock your coalition partner who will be required for your next coalition.

Did you forget the Seinfield Convention in Vancouver?

    The Non Leadership Race?

The Top Secret Platform that you are terrified to discuss because of the humilation of Greenshift?

So far you leader father of Carbon tax rejected in 2006 by Liberals has produced two policies.

Greenshift and 360 EI both LEAD Balloons.

Keep braggging about the pathetic party with 77 seats and worst pop in over 100 years in October 2008.
