The latest from Canada's most prominent concern troll: the leader of the opposition ought to lick the third rail of politics, act more responsibly than the actual government! And if he does do this licking, Andrew Coyne promises to wave a vague titty of support in his direction for half a blog post or so.
Yeah, I read that. How smarmy.
ReplyDeleteYes, would it have really been a stretch to suggest the PRIME MINISTER might need to held to a standard of honesty?
ReplyDeleteHow this became Ignatieff's issue and his alone is just amazing.
That massive drop in Polls since Sudbury is the PM's fault?
ReplyDeletearrogance and out of touch scores being just above Jack Layton?
methinks you doth protest too much from Coyne demanding someone wake up the Liberal leader to mainstreet.
Well Ignatieff better start doing something different, cause his current act isn't going over.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, if he wants to win power he should act more responsibly than the current government. Otherwise there's not much point voting for him.
canadian nonsense is an oakville crackpot. His own MP avoids him like the plague.
ReplyDeleteIGGY will rise again and sooner than any crackpot could imagine.
And yes, if he wants to win power he should act more responsibly than the current government. Otherwise there's not much point voting for him.
ReplyDeleteAnd what would "acting more responsibly" look like? Not using the PCO as his private campaign HQ? Not using the civil service as campaign workers? Not stealing public funds? Not stranding Canadians abroad? Not doling government contracts to his friends?
Done, done, done, done and done.
Trouble is, Ti-Guy, is that the Liberals abused the system even worse when they were in power. Which means that people will find it hard to believe that putting the Liberals back in power will produce less abuse.
ReplyDeleteIgnatieff right now represents nothing to people. From a PR point of view, he's a vague, amorphous blob. He'd better grow a pair or get out of the game.
Ti-Guy . . . If Iggy and his gang crap out in the next election, there's only the Greens and the Bloc who's bandwagon you haven't jumped on. After that, maybe you should try the right for a change. After all, 40% of Canadians think Iggy and his gang are idiots.
ReplyDeleteTrouble is, Ti-Guy, is that the Liberals abused the system even worse when they were in power.
ReplyDeleteNo they didn't. We're talking at least a 100 million dollars in stolen public funds at this point. And all that with a minority.
When's Harper calling his commission of inquiry, by the way?
Anyway, I'm not surprised. I didn't expect Conservative politicians to be any less ethically challenged and morally bankrupt than the rank-and-file. Although the adulterous Vic Toews, Maxime and his Moll and Helena "That's my husband's blow not mine!" Guergis have somewhat exceeded expectations.
It seems Ti-Guy has a very short memory. Chretien's son rapes women. I guess that might be a little more serious than a little adultery or a little blow. At least they were only harming themselves.
ReplyDeleteTi-Guy
ReplyDeletetalks about scandals without any proof.
Can you link those reports from the Auditor General to back the post?
Nice try. Need links from the AG on the Billions mismanaged under the Liberals?
PK
ReplyDelete75% don't support the Liberals. They like to pretend the NDP and Greens and Bloc will do strategic voting.
Every election they beg for those votes.
It is true that Terence Young took out a restraining order against CanadianSense?
ReplyDeleteI'd believe it.
Ti-guy since Parnel won't post the name maybe you have more courage.
ReplyDeleteAsk him for the name and you post it.
Otherwise as bedwetter you two are jus full of hot air.
Thanks for that extra tidbit of information.
ReplyDeleteMan, you really are nuts, CanadianNonsense.
Actually, Iggy need only act better than the present Liberal gov't of Ontario to improve his sorry lot. eHealth's out of control costs, lavish expenses, untendered contracts, one billion of tax payer money wasted.

..It's pretty sad really. It must be heartbreaking for the Chretiens who made a huge commitment and adopted a native boy with the hopes of giving him all the opportunities in the world. He had a substance abuse problem and it's not unusual for adopted native kids to fit in. A similar thing happened to David Frum's parents (you know Frum - neoconservative big time). His parents adopted a native boy and had no end of trouble. Frum and his sister don't even acknowledge him. They act like they never had another brother.
It's truly sad to put your heart, soul and commitment into trying to do the right thing and this happens.
Ti-Guy and Parnel(Terry1)
ReplyDeleteare funny and deluded. Every misstep and failure captured by pundits and pollsters is garbage.
Everytime those same polls and pundits show signs of Liberals improving those "crackpots" are correct.
Ti-Guy,Parnel enjoy posting from both sides of their mouths.
They applaud and attack the same pundits and pollsters.
These two apologists for the Liberal Party must live in the enchanted forest with Iffy.
Everything is fine, polls are going to turn, the CPC are going down...too funny.
^ Shut the fuck up.

You really are confused, aren't you? Let me explain something...Canada has many levels of government. Try to keep them separate.
Anyway, by all means, let's focus on the ongoing mess that the automation of medical records in Ontario continues to be. I'm particularly gratified to see, yet again, what I've warned about in the past when it comes to outsourcing and consultants...there's nothing more corrupt (either wilfully, or through sheer ineptitude) than the private sector.
I wouldn't be surprised if Sarah Kramer ends up in jail. If she takes a few friends in the government down with her, so be it.
Ti-Guy, Parnel, Jon Petree,
ReplyDeletethe gifts that keep giving.
I am thrilled the host does not censor your brilliant posts.
I know they don't reflect people who live upstairs.
They reflect basement dwellers with a modem.
Don't worry I am sure W.K. will send you some new talking points to launch another impressive attack on the government.
How is it working out so far?
24% next week?
In mid-October, the Liberal leader has seen his standing drop dramatically. A majority of Canadians (51%) say their opinion of Ignatieff has worsened over the course of the past month, while only six per cent report an improvement. The Grit leader's momentum score is -45.-Angus Poll
Great plan, keep it up!

ReplyDeleteHe doesn't even read them, you moron.
I'm sure if I squatted at your blog and filled up your comments section with repetative nonsense, you'd be deleting and engaging comment moderation within seconds.
