I got one here a week or so ago - targeting the Conservatives for failing to protect farmers and their interests (and this is a Conservative riding).
I can't recall which Liberal was sending it in, but I was mildly surprised to get it, since the riding I'm in right now is solidly Conservative, and hard right wing at that (though this is a rural based riding, so I can see the logic in sending it)
My question on the donations is how much more did the conservatives spend on fundraising than the LPC?
I read an article that said in 2008 the CPC spent 6-8 million, while the LPC spent 2 million. If that is still true that puts them a lot closer than these numbers would suggest.
Not that the LPC couldn't use a boost. Speaking for myself, a strong stand on the long gun registry would go a long way...
