Ezra Levant: In Flames And Engorged!

I really don't know what he's up to in this picture, but it looks like he's doing one of those orgasmic operatic howls Pavoratti might unleash when he's singing that part of Der Ring des Nibelungen where Frika blows Wotan.

  1. Is this photo from the panel that included Paul Wells? I missed part of it because of a phone call.

Paul Wells, if it's the same segment, looked absolutely disgusted.

Wouldn't you have loved to see a fly go into Ezra's mouth at that precise moment - it would be fitting.

After watching Levant, and Tenycke, I think Solomon needs to get more control - I don't think Don Newman or Susan Bonner would have let Levant get away with this.

  2. Yes thats the one. If you click thorugh to Blues Clair, he has a link to the you tube clip. Wells looks like he's een matched up with a loony, as indeed he was.

  5. "No one could get a word in edgewise..."

That is what I find so funny about this free speech advocate. He never lets anyone actually debate him. If he were able to debate his opinions he would actually allow debate on his opinions.

  6. Heh. Blues Chair links to Dodo, who is in awe of Ezra's debating skills.

RuralSandi is right about Evan Solomon. The guy's inability to moderate a discussion...any discussion...is really starting to piss me off.

Steve Paikin would be far better in that role. Of course, the more immediate solution would be *not* to inflict that big-mouthed pig Ezra Levant on the rest of us. He is just not a serious person and no one, not even wingnuts, can learn anything from him.

  8. I'm hoping Mr Solomon is learning on the job and he's noting what works and what doesn't. Otherwise P&P runs the risk of becoming a freak show. Tom Clark over at CTV is impressing me lately.

I'm also thinking the reasoning behind Evan giving Levant air-time (along with making Tenycke a semi-regular) is to counter the old argument about the Lib-bias of the CBC. He really needs to learn to invite people like Tom Flanagan more instead of the lunatic fringe of the new-right.

Who on the Right is making any sense anymore? At this rate, they're going to have to be hunting high and low for liberals who are willing to play devil's advocate to promote a genuinely conservative or "Conservative* critique.

That's what bugs me the most about these people. I can promote a more persuasive argument better than any of these these boobs can.
