TORONTO – Quebecor’s Sun News was removed from the Bell TV satellite lineup at 10 a.m. this morning (Tuesday, May 3).
While the channel slot itself remains, the feed has been replaced with text telling customers that the channel “has been taken down at the request of the owners of Sun News."
Go through the link for details.
I bet the text gets higher ratings than Sun did.
ReplyDeleteThere's more to the story. Now SunTv is asking people to badger Bell to sign a deal with them.
ReplyDelete...which stirs up a little more media attention directed at their pathetically flailing little enterprise. I think their facebook site is still stuck at under 2,000 "friends".
ReplyDeleteYou sound paranoid, but I can't think of a better explanation. Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they're expecting to get worked into basic cable pretty soon anyways thanks to their upcoming friendly relations with the CRTC.

ReplyDeleteWell.. Didn't you know?
ReplyDeleteSun was just a 24 hour unofficial election ad.
Kind of like David Suzuki..
"Kind of like David Suzuki.."
ReplyDeleteWhat does that even mean? There is no equivalency. What a stupid remark.
Hey Harvie the evidence for AGW just keeps piling up:
