I was at this talk and I was no doubt one of the youngest people there....and I am 65.
My view is that it's Mark Steyn who is misjudging the community.
Example he chose to attack a well liked member of the Jewish community calling him of all horrible names a "Liberal". He then went on to suggest that Human Rights Commissions should be shut down.
The crowd I was around reacted badly to both these attacks. You see Jews may have turned to the Tories on Israel in fact ii am one of them,but when it comes to issues important to them like human rights and even respected Jewish leaders they still seem to give it strong support.
So when nature take its course these misguided humanoids will become extinct? Happy Hanukkah!

ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear that Steyn wasn't having people eating out of his hands. :) I'm not sure why being a Liberal a bad thing though. ;)
