I've given up on the BC Libs, not just for this reason. The whole "is natural gas greener" question is very complex. In the context of B.C. I imagine is mostly an abdication + a cop-out.
But on the other hand some of the first nations seem to be OK with NG pipelines in the way they aren't with bitumen. So I await enlightenment on this particular topic.
