Blazing Cat Fur Takes One In The Money Belt

From the website of Richard Warman:

Richard Warman is pleased to confirm settlement of his libel action against Arnie Lemaire (aka BlazingCatFur) on terms acceptable to the parties including removal of all material identified in the current statement of claim.

No details on cash amounts, but rumor has it Arnie and his wife Kathy Shaidle will be moving to new digs shortly.  The particulars of the defamation are the same as those in the Ezra Levant case, as those in the case of KKKate from SDA, as those in the case of the Fourniers from FreeD.  Expect all of them to go the same way when they eventually conclude.

  1. I wonder if the settlement includes bankruptcy a la Patrick Ross. Didn't know KKKate had lost a suit. What a group - Shaidles, KKKate and Levant. Losers.

  2. These other cases have not concluded. But the claims and defenses are all exactly the same, so when they do conclude I expect them to go the same way.

  4. So you mean that last minute fundraising the JDL and Free Dominion did for Blazing Cat Fur and all the money they raised went into Richard Warman's pocket so he could further fund his lawsuit against Free Dominion? How long do you think it'll be before Marc and Connie and their supporters realize they've been double-crossed?

  5. They don't seem to have heard about this at FD yet. I wonder if BCF is still getting donations from any of them?

  6. This is really hilarious. The idiots basically raised money for their own prosecution while they were thinking they were driving nails into Warman's coffin. I wonder if Arnie knew this all along but decided to keep quite rather than have to dig deeper into his own pocket?

  7. Well, we'll never know if and when he was advised to settle by his lawyer. It's privileged information. Unless he can't keep from blogging about it.

  8. His lawyer probably would have told him not to. But anon has a point.

  9. Maybe someone needs to go over the FD and gently point that out to them.

  10. The crickets are chirping up a storm just maybe because the freedo geniuses are crafting their own settlement proposal. Better that than losing a house and all the RRSP's after weeks in court.
