Trans Mountain: They Had To Bomb The Whale In Order To Save The Whale

Dropping explosives into the ocean to scare whales away from balls of floating dilbit is just just one element of  Trans Mountain's "world class" response to oil-spills outta ships carrying Alberta Tar from its pipelines.  And if the bombers should overshoot...then hey!  they'll be enough blubber steak for sale in Vancouver's trendy "game" restaurants to finance a protected area, where the last deafened and terrified whales can huddle as they wait for the next air-strike.

    yep, its tragic!
    and really the harper govt is at war with nature and all the other species. he has removed all protection that took decades to get in place.
