Most stories claim that "Frog-1" (as they are calling him) was just
lounging about a pool used for the NASA launch-pad sprinkler system. But I prefer to think that the little fellow was a stowaway--a frog brave enough to pursue his crazy dream of becoming an astronaut. A frog who, when he was young, would look up at the heavens every night and wonder what was out there. A frog who thought he might become great one day, who strove to be the best frog he could be. So Go! Frog-1! Today you have slipped the surly bounds of Earth! Today you belong to the stars!
