Sun TV Deletes Ezra Levant's Anti-Roma Screed
It used to be here. Background on the network's latest foray into hate-speech here. H/T to Dawg And a question to Kory Teneycke, boss of bosses at Fox News North (Sun News Network): why let these kind of broadcasts happen, and then pull them down when they cause your network shame? Why not just tell your boys to not act like racist dickheads on the air or they'll be fired? "Tabbing it up" hasn't done fuck all for your ratings, has it? Why not change?

From Fox News North To Fertilizer
Kory Teneycke lands on his feet.
From the article:
[The Vampire] declined comment on his work Thursday, aside from saying it doesn't require him to knock on doors in the federal government.
Hmm. Maybe he's shovelling something. Also from the article:
The Globe and Mail has learned the Saskatchewan-born politico – who counts Premier Brad Wall as a friend – is helping BHP talk to the provincial government in Regina. He's also offering BHP communications advice.
Yeah. That will help.

Bono Dodges The Reaper
Mark Bonokowski, that is. His disappearance from the T.O. Sun masthead appears to stem from the fact that he is on vacation, as confirmed by this tweet from the 27th, and not from the fact that the Vampire Teneckcye sacked his ass out the door.
...Although he's been on vacation since the 25th, and his name was only pulled down on the 27th. And why would you pull a name for that anyway?
Anyway, have a good vacation Mark! But be careful when you get back to the office. Carry garlic!

A Dark Figure Stalks The Sun Chain
...sucking talent from the veins of its demoralized staffers:
Mark Bonokoski's name was missing from the Toronto Sun's Comment section masthead on Wednesday.
Has he struck again? I'm about a half-hour from getting a look at a physical copy of the Sun: if anyone can check the mast-head and let me know whether another Sun old-timer has been "right-sized", I would appreciate it.
Update: Not on the masthead today either. Hmmm!

Fox News North News: The Vampire Teneycke Strikes Again
He's sacked Eric Margolis:
"I wrote for the Sun chain for 27 years because it allowed me total freedom of expression even when the editors disagreed with my opinions - something very rare in the media," Margolis told TSF [Toronto Sun Family Blog] in an e-mail today.
"This policy has changed. My views are displeasing to Ottawa," he says. "Accordingly, the Sun and I are parting company."
