Something remarkable is happening in Alberta. Despite determined efforts by some alarmist columnists, the public and our government stubbornly refuse to be afraid of anti-hate legislation.
Meanwhile, Brian Storseth's Private Member's Motion/Bill/whatever repealing Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act is not on the order paper for Tues., Oct. 4. Can we therefore conclude that this little speechy uprising has been quashed?

There never really was a speechy uprising to begin with. It was always nothing more than a con game by Ezra to increase his fame and fortune. Since he's moved on to shilling tarsand oil for greater profit it's not surprising the free speech con game is fading.
I think there's a certain truth to that profit angle, but I don't doubt for a second that Ezra is a true speechy disciple. With Storseth's PMB bill floating around, I hope he becomes even more vocal about the speechy crusade on his teevee show. Over the next four years, one of the few things to look forward to is watching the wingnuts get frustrated at their own Reformatory majority government.
They throw red meat to the base and then they take it away. I can't see this ending well if they keep this up.
