As Dawg notes, at least one of the 911 operators at the other end of Ford's ranting has filed a grievance. And he points points to this:
There are now also reports the city's 911 operators are filing a grievance with their union after saying the mayor was abusive to them while waiting what he felt was too long for police help to arrive.
One way or another, that tape is coming out.
And by the way, this is what happens when you spend your first year as boss telling the world your employees are all crap, and then they get a chance for some pay-back.

The mayor DID wait too long for a response to his 911 call.
He is as entitled as any other citizen to a prompt response to an emergency call.
If use of bad language is a fair reason to file a complaint, the courts will be buried inder these cases.
Tom, where was the emergency? Not like there were armed robbers invading the family home.
Good gawd, since when is a 60 year old comedienne in a warrior princess get up, along with a camera crew in tow such a danger?
With his antics, I wonder whose life was really in danger when that 9-1-1 dispatcher was putzing along with him on the phone?
Nice try Tom. If it had truly been an emergency, he would have stuck around for the police to arrive. As it turns out he left for work instead.

His reputation was in danger, not that it was really worth that much.
CBC ambush at Fords home would even shame an American network into an apology.
Instead of apologizing, they double down and report a 911 call based on hear say.
This is what you defend.
