When discussing hate speech legislation, Section 13, and so on and so forth, its important to get a handle on the kind of people these tools are typically used against. ARC
has compiled an extensive list of violent acts committed by Canadian Neo-Nazis and white supremacists. I'm not sure its quite exhaustive; I was about half certain white supremacists were behind some of stuff during the
Oka Crisis. But pretty impressive nevertheless.

Wow, I didn't know Section 13 of the CHRA prohibited violence! I thought we had, you know, the Criminal Code for that sort of thing.
Ok, hate speech is one thing.
But how about the Air India bombing that killed 280 Canadians? Was that Neo-Nazis too?
And the Toronto 18 who were plotting to kill our Prime Minister and slaughter innocent Canadians? What's their link to Neo-Nazism?
And why are most terrorists who are arrested Ontarians? Just wonderin'.
