Look I’m a born and raised in Calgary and I’m a liberal. I understand where Ralph was coming from when he referred to the easterners as “bums”. Look I know that there was a labour shortage back then, just like there is now, but Alberta does not need people from the east who only come out here to work for a short period of time, drink, do drugs and break the law. What should be done instead is immigration. We should only allow people of colour from Africa and middle eastern countries only. These people appreciate the work more and will contribute to society and not break the law. So yes Ralph was correct using the term “bums”.
