Just to come clean here.  I thought the Prentice budget was an honest attempt by Albertans to enter the modern world of governance.  But it went over like a drowning duck off the top of Niagara Falls.  But whatever.  I hate Alberta the way everyone else in Canada hates Toronto.  So let Chaos reign!  Either the NDP or WRP rule OK by me.

Ottawa — Defence Department computers in Ottawa have been used to alter information on a Wikipedia page critical of the Conservative government’s decision to spend billions on a new stealth fighter.

Nine attempts have been made to change the online encyclopedia’s entry on the Joint Strike Fighter, including the removal of any information critical of the Harper government’s plan to spend at least $16-billion on the new aircraft.

It is worth noting that the vandalism has continued today since the article was unlocked, but this time the IP address is from Calgary. I think this story may grow over time as the Prentice story did.

The "Prentice Story" is this, if you've forgotten. I think the Calgary IP they're referencing is 70.79.166.251.

Ripe For Re-gifting

Industry Minister Jim Prentice took his staff out to Hy's Steakhouse in downtown Ottawa last Monday, Dec. 10, for a holiday gathering. Between 30 and 35 people were there, and Mr. Prentice asked everyone to take turns talking about the high and low points of the year over dinner, which was followed by some generous gift giving. Among some of the gifts that Mr. Prentice handed out was, you guessed it, copies of Mr. Mulroney's new book, Memoirs.

Betcha the people he didn't like got two copies.
