Found a lovely blog by the name of Oddee: A Blog of the Oddities Of Our World which had this post on "7 Incredible Natural Phenomena you've never seen", one of which turned out to be the the tree climbing goats of Morocco. (Actually, I had seen some of these guys before, although I might have been stoned at the time (or it might have been on tv).)
Another of the 7 is shown in the Youtube clip below. The Pororoca happens twice a year (in February and March) when the tidal bore at the mouth of the Amazon drives the "world's longest wave" upriver for miles, destroying trees, houses, and anything else in its path. Naturally, some people feel a need to surf it.
Another of my favorite posts on the site concerns "10 Real Life Superheros", and includes a long quote by a guy that goes by the name of "Mr Silent".

No, those are all signs of global warming. Goats being forced to climb trees to escape the Pororoco. And even though it happens twice a year, every year, people still decide to build next to the river, only to have to rebuilt every year. They must vote Liberal.
goat farts are extremely rich in methane and very damaging to the atmosphere.
Turn them into kebobs before they kill us all
lol, ya I have seen animals in a tree before also, at a youger age, but me it was pink elephants...
Goats are cool. Had a pet goat as a kid. She used to follow us onto the school bus in the mornings; we had to drag her off by the horns. I lost my virginity to that goat.
Oh shit. I didn't mean to say that. Um, I mean, uh, the goat lost her virginity to me. No wait! That's not it either. Um, never mind.
Don't worry; no one would expect you're being serious when you claim you've "lost your virginity."
So, is it sporting to shoot the goats while roosting, or should we flush them into the air first?
Either way is fine, just get as close as you can before you shoot. Otherwise your retriever is going to hate you.
