Agreed on the size of the pie wedges. They're more than math and pie chart challenged. They're also spelling-challenged as 'thyself' ought to be one word and it should probably be 'refinery' not refiner.
But then again, we're talking about a "media" outlet whose viewership generally can't tell the difference between their, there and they're or to, two and too.

They need to go to the University of Waterloo campus and recruit someone mathematically literate.
The stupid thing is that had they drawn the pie chart correctly, it would have made their point better.
Correct. Drawn right, 33% taxes would be a bigger slice of the pie.
Don't people usually use a computer to generate pie charts these days?
How exactly did they get one to mangle the data this badly?
Forget hiring a UW student. They should just hire a 14 year old who knows how to use Excel.
Since Fox does this so often, I wonder if its somehow deliberate, and if FNN is copying them somehow.
BCL,
Maybe, but then the chart would have had "taxes" taking up more than half the pie.
I mean, if you're going to distort the data intentionally, you might as well do so in a way that supports your point.
