Dean Skoreyko Is A Kook

Here's his political resume.  Note that it ends in 2010.  That's because the B.C. Tories ditched him for being a kook, a line of thinking they might have applied fruitfully to some of their candidates for the current B.C.  provincial election.  But now Dean's angry at me--sweet, innocent little bunny BCL--for "spamming" his website.  Which is really only half true.  I do make a point of sending a brief comment to every one  of his posts--that comment is "Kook", sometimes with punctuation, sometimes without. Just so he knows he's a kook.  And Dean's right, I  do crave attention; so thanks for it, SUCKAH!

I’ve read this idiots blog from time-to-time when I had constipation issues and I frankly find him boring and extremely inarticulate. I once challenged him on his alleged conservative standing and so called morals regarding the a women’s right to choose and how the Harper government is maintaining the Liberal status quo. He could only respond by calling me a “moron”. This all came about in light of a CBC article discussing how Harper has gained the support of some right leaning liberals who helped the Conservatives win their majority. Basically the guy is a real jagoff cause he couldn’t get a real job in media or any type of public communication setting whatsoever.

It must take more than just being a "kook" to get kicked out of a party of kooks, must be something Gagliano league bad if they didn't want his name on the membership rolls and sent him back his $ 10 fee.

Although he fits in well with the backwards political landscape of the Okanagan. His views are not all that uncommon in these parts where Stockwell Day is considered brilliant.

What? writing the same thing over and over is spamming? What isn't spamming these days?

Here's the rub, it takes some serious ethical breach or major crime to get kicked out of a mass electoral party like the Liberals, NDP, Conservatives, Bloc, PQ, etc. Generally you sign up, pay your fees, agree to abide by the program and constitution - and as long as you're not being featured on national news as some child molester or serial rapist or murderer, you get to remain for life, if you so wish...

Now if there were no major ethical breaches or irreconcilable programmatic differences that justified BC Blue's exclusion from the BC Conservatives, just personal backstabbing and personality issues, then this party of kooks has revealed itself to be no more than some right wing cult or sect, not a legitimate political party.

While I'm not familiar with the internal workings of far right sects, let's take the example of some far left sects in which "moral degeneracy" or being an alleged enemy agent serves as often and perhaps more often than declared programmatic differences as grounds for expulsion.

In the case of the late unlamented British Revolutionary Workers Party, its "serial rapist" leader Gerry Healey was eventually expelled on grounds of moral degeneracy and crimes against the membership, but it took them more than 20 years to find the courage to bring him to account, after he had routinely terrorized the British left and his own membership for well over two decades and had made within his own ranks "walk the plank".

One of Healey's loosely affiliated splinter groups in the US during the sixties, lead by Lyndon LaRouche and which eventually veered to the far right, displayed similar characteristics. members were not expelled for political, ie programmatic deviations, but on the grounds of moral degeneracy, accusations of spying for the FBI, CIA, etc., that is "deviations" generally motivated by personal gripes and backstabbing.

One example was LaRouche's response to a rival member's threat for the affection of LaRouche's wife, he didn't expel him for "adultery" or violations of "revolutionary morality", that would have been politically laughable for the far left, so he dreamed up an external threat about CIA infiltration and with headlines screaming in his press complete with exposes and juicy tidbits, summarily expelled the threat of his rival.

Both Healey and LaRouche routinely slandered their political rivals on the left with concoctions, fabrications and outright lies, far flung conspiracies, accusing them of being both CIA and KGB agents, at the same time, and similar lunacy. Though come to think of it, it would appear that Harper is drinking from the same source and is transforming his party into some lunatic right wing sect.

Poor Dean, I suspect he doesn't "get" this internet thing. To get in such a huff over such a tiny thing speaks to how nastily he must get trolled every day.

"Kook" might just be too mild a term for the political rodeo clown infighting between these misfits, I took a glance at BC Blue's Mischa Popoff video directed against the BC Conservatives, and the term "bestiality porn" comes to mind.

Probably the one and only time I'll ever fully agree w/ you.

At least you only called him a kook, which he is. I had the temerity to question some of his "facts" and was quickly blocked from commenting. Apparently showing Dean "too toxic to be a tory" Sk up in front of his Orcs is an embarrassment too far.

Steven "non-partisan" Taylor is another commenting coward who doesn't like to hear dissenting voices; especially when they are reality based.

These are the guys who question the moral fortitude of anybody who questions their abuse of the military in forwarding party policy; but poop their pants when called to account. I know many an Old Tory who would be disgusted at their craven cowardice and the fact they've hi-jacked the monicker, Conservative.

I've dealt with this kook back in the fall. I disagreed with his support of a piece the equally kooky & terminally bitter Tom Brodbeck.

He got so offended that I disagreed with him, he threatened to go tattletale to one of my employers. Of course nothing ever came of it.

Dean can appear to be normal some of the time, but never dare to disagree with him, least you want to live in fear of his threats and verbal abuse. He will defame your character and lie to try to get other to join in with his crazy self induced war. He is a control freak that will push his own agenda and then get angry when anyone objects and then he will blame them or their lack support when he quits.
