This Special Ballot vote should not have happened in the first place. It was not authorized, nor was it advertised to get the attention of the students to vote (which was the alleged real purpose). Photos tell another story. Mr Sona is not to blame, but him “stealing" the ballot box is rather a distraction to the real issue. Why did the Returning Officer put on a Special Ballot vote without having authorization by Elections Canada?
And yet Elections Canada ruled that all was fine with the UofG advanced poll, EC criteria was met, and that the votes stand. So much for your conspiracy theories Global Express.
