Contrary to what others might think, I do not want the National Post to die. What I want is a National Post where its journalists can think critically irrespective of ideology.
When the paper first started under the NP label, I found it refreshing in that its writers were assertive and challenged conventional thinking on different issues. I believe Andrew Coyne came from the Post.
It's fine for the National Post to have conservative writers. I just wish I could have broader range of journalists so that they can challenge themselves on their thinking in order to take better editorial stances--conservative, liberal, social democratic, and other. The National Post could become a much better paper if it included a range of opinions.
