From an observer partial to The Fourniers:
I’ll be brief.
Today is a sad, sad day for all Canadians – and a tragic one for all freedom loving people.
The jury foreperson giggled as she said: “The answer is 42!”
As in, $42,000 awarded to Mr. Warman in damages…
In addition, Mr. Warman is seeking an injunction against Free Dominion – a gag order – that would see the Fourniers thrown into jail if anyone even mentions his name on FD, no matter how quickly it would be taken down. If that happens, Free Dominion will cease to exist…
I’ll have some details later – am too upset to write more now.
That this would be the result really should have been obvious. You won't convince anyone that you're fighting for free speech rights, or even that you're sane, by bringing in Paul Fromm and David Icke as character witnesses. Congratulations Richard on the end of a long fight. Now go drink beer.
Update: They're considering an appeal over at FreeD. Also considering a shutdown.

I'm presuming you were monitoring that site if only to see the reaction or hear about it... can't imagine why you'd want to read that blog's stuff otherwise.
I have many eyes and many spies.
Fascinating allegations by this Icke fellow the Fourniers brought in as witness. He claims Queen Elizabeth is the descendant of "extraterrestrial reptiles" and that Trudeau and Mulroney collaborated together in some form of gang rape of American women they lured across the border to Niagara Falls using some Kreskin type "mind control", perhaps the offshoot of some mutant ability or extraterrestrial ancestry.
Icke defended his allegations as the absolute truth noting he had never been sued by Mulroney for making such wild claims. And the Free Dominion crowd console themselves with the knowledge they lost their case because they were tried before a jury of Eloi, answering to "their masters, the globalist Morlocks"....
In fact many years ago Ickes suggested I was a shape-shifter.
This was still going on?
Good to see even FD isn't above the law.
@BMF Bernie, if anyone ever qualified as a Bilberger shape-shifting reptilian from the 5th dimension, it's gotta be you. Or me. I just can't think think of anybody else. Putting that snakeoil salesman Icke on the stand was a rather misguided thing to do by the defendants, and I'm being polite.
Icke is nuts. I can't imagine being on the jury for this thing and thinking anything but who are these loons?
"Icke is nuts." I disagree.
Look at his face when he talks. He's very deliberate. Very calculating.
He's an entertainer. A huckster. And he knows how to turn a big dollar (or whatever currency you'd like to name) spinning his various lines of B.S. to these new world order wannabees. I'd call him a used car salesman, but I don't want to insult any of my car salesmen friends, most of whom are ethical, decent people.
It's been many years since I read the books, but wasn't the answer to the big question (what do you get when you take 6 by 7?) in fact 43? If so, they should have been stuck for another k, and should count themselves lucky.
Icke also noted he had never been sued by Mulroney
I'm sure Brian is still lauhging too hard.
Icke is best known for his theory that the world is controlled by descendants of extraterrestrial reptiles, Queen Elizabeth II among them.
There goes his credibility: I'd have agreed if he had said, "Stephan Harper" but a corgi lover.
The jury must have been amazed.
Poor, poor FD. Always the victim, forever the fool. I understand there are others waiting in line for FD penalty monies. Slam dunk, if so.
