...and Don Martin did:
With his wild rant on a CBC national politics show this week, the television icon has accomplished the difficult feat of offending all those in his parliamentary orbit -- his former journalistic occupation, the Conservative party, senators, MPs and even the prime minister who appointed him.
The last claim is interesting. Any evidence that the Duffster actually managed to offend Stephen Harper?
PS. Lib. MP Glen Pearson's defense of Stoffer, refed in the article above, is here.

It certainly does require a rather fanciful imagination to believe Harper was offended by Duffy's primitive display. He probably got all tingly...y'know...down there.
He even got some support in the comments, though the commenters there are usually the worst I have seen for a newspaper.
there are usually the worst
Ie. standard Conservative rhetoric, characterised by withering, bilious scolding from online nobodies, completely out of proportion to the issue at hand.
Take this comment for example:
"And you call this a news article? You're the one going on a disgraceful rant. What a complete load of crap waste of time piece of nonsense. Exaggerate much? By being so obviously and utterly biased you completely destroy any crediblity, or actual points that you otherwise might have made. I can't believe that this kind of garbage gets put up in a national news magazine. It's nothing but shrill, poorly written propaganda. Stupid and useless."
Oh wait a minute. That wasn't a nobody commenting on this article. That was overheard at the Kay breakfast table this morning in a conversation between Barbara and Jonathon. She finished up with "I wish you had never been born!"
Duffy is an arrogant buffoon and he displayed both of his strenfths last night.
I bet Canadian nonsense will come here nd find a way to defend him.
Terry1 please dont invite Canadian Masturbator into the conversation... Just mentioning him will cause him to appear in a puff of kleenexes
One thing that struck me - Duffy (talking about his travel expenses) said - is it too much to ask to reach out to Canadians....huh? It's not his job to reach out to Canadians. Duffy's job is to do "senate work". And, are his $44,000 in travel expenses for taxpayer funding for Harper's constant campaigning?
Canadian Senseless happens to be a divorced woman and I can understand why. She stated that info on one of her blogs and trust me, she's all over the blogs saying the same thing sometimes almost word for word.
Watch the beginning of the video clip again when Evan comments on the tux. Does it not seem that he stumbles over and half slurs enough of his words that you have to wonder just how long he's been at that party?
Divorced woman? Well...had that pegged all wrong.
Anyway. Fun time! Condensed CanadianSense drivel and bile for the reader's amusement here.
Kind of makes me feel less special all of a sudden...

Oh, that's just the usual indigestion he gets around that time, from the snack he has that keeps him going from his mid-afternoon nibble to his pre-dinner nosh.
Hello all:
I think that all sorts of people get divorced, including some very good people. I am not a fan of Canadian Sense, but, really, the fact that she is divorced should not count against her.
Even though she may describe herself as divorced, I would consider that to be a poor, and somewhat misogynist line of attack (and thus unworthy of the the otherwise very worthy commentators)
Why should that bilious and irritating troll be spared from any and all offence?
I'm sure decent divorced people aren't offended right now.

Thanks Ti-Guy, I just covered myself with some very good German beer.

LMAO - even got tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. Thanks for that!
Ti-Guy,
The link you posted here doesn't work. Can you re-try?
