If You Were This Cute You'd Never Have To Work

The first ever recorded footage of the long-earred Jerboa, a

...tiny nocturnal mammal that is dwarfed by its enormous ears, [and] can be found in deserts in Mongolia and China.

Love the way it flaps its ears to clear the dust off 'em.

More info at Cryptomundo. And, no, you can't have one for Xmas! They're endangered.

They're endangered by feral house cats.

Can anybody recommend a good Mongolian feral cat hunt outfitter?

Off-topic: The juices will start flowing in Delisle over this any minute now.

They will, and the father and brother should be charged and, if convicted, jailed. Doesn't make me feel any different about the hijab (if its someone's choice to wear it, then let 'em)

Ti-guy,
Ask any pentecostal or Jehovah's witness branded girl and they will tell you the same. I have even seen these girls abused after being caught in a skirt by daddy. It doesn't have to be an hijab, just conservative religious dress.

Well except for those catholic girls. They love to show skin.

I call BS, Jay. You show us a news report where a girl of JW or whatever other Christian faith has been almost choked to death over her clothing.

But there is one religion that stands out in this type of intolerant violence. Can you guess which one?

There are accounts of Jehovah's Witnesses letting their kids die because the medical care they are getting is not in accord with their beliefs, which I would argue is similar.

There's also a new post on the topic. This one should be strictly for admiring the hopping, big earred rat.

If you can't see the HUGE difference between a religious belief against medical intervention, and a religious edict to kill your own child because of clothing, then there is no hope in debating with you.

Anon 3:23,

They both involve killing your kid due to a conflict with your religious beliefs. Last response on this thread. Now look at the hopping rat, pinhead.

Well, I'm glad that's over with. We can look forward to the nonnies moving on to better blogs, I'm sure.

Oh...nice rat.

Fishers. They're Canadian boreal forest animals, and one of the larger members of the weasel family. They can be best described as miniature wolverines They're not quite as big as house cats (they grow to 8 lbs max) but they''re absolute killing machines that will wipe out entire feral colonies of cats in one month or less. They'll kill another cat each night until the colony is decimated.

They're native to the area I grew up, and it's funny to hear farmers complain that all their cats have disappeared suddenly - killed by "some big mink or something." Some stupid farmers keep colonies of 30 or 40 cats on their property because they believe they keep the rats away. This is terrible for local wildlife, especially song birds, but don't bother telling stupid old farmers about that.

So the fishers serve a valuable cleanup purpose. Unfortunately, I doubt they'd ever adapt to the Mongolian desert.

Ti-Guy seems less than enthused. He's probably worried about the logistics of inserting such a long-eared rodent in his rectum. I don't he needs to worry - the ears look fairly flexible. I doubt he'll even feel them.

That should read "I doubt he needs to worry.....

"I call BS, Jay."

Who is calling BS? I see no one, just some anonymous noise. I never said they killed them, just they abused them.

A close friend of mine was verbally abused and kicked out of her house for wanting to do a Science degree. She no longer speaks to me now since she found out I was gay. What a fucked up family. All because she witnessed Jehovah.

Close your eyes everyone.

Reminds me of the scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark when they opened the ark.

Nope, I didn't think you see the subtle distinction. I guess nuance isn't a Liberal forte.
