On Why The Fringe Stays The Fringe

Can you see S. Harper fighting an election for the right of Ezra Levant to remain unnannoyed by uppity activists? Nah. I can't either.

Well... even though I think you're out to lunch on the issue of HRC's and speech, the idea that we should have NO HRC's and thus no anti-discrimination laws is unquestionably fringe.

Stop censoring them with your mockery!

Only the left could see the issue of free speech as being a fringe issue.

Harper must be way left, then.

Harper is a closet liberal? Have mercy.

I assume you are referring to Harper and Bill C-10 BCL. It does raise troubling questions.

But it is hard to take the left seriously when they care little about freedom of expression for the general public but want us to be outraged about Bill C-10.

I am referring to the fact Harper will do nothing to advance this particular agenda.

Don't forget Ezra thinks PMSH owes him a favour or two for stepping aside as the candidate in Calgary SW.

BCL, I don't think Harper need do anything in regards to HRC's. They have taken a bit of a public drubbing recently and if they make a truly egregious decision, our real justice system will likely correct it. Harper can sit tight and let the HRC's sink their own ship on this issue.

"Stop censoring us with your lameness!" - ti-guy

Ti-guy, I promise to work tirelessly to improve the lameness of my posts in a neverending quest for mediocrity. Remember, you are my inspiration.
