Later this morning, I'm off to do Michael Coren's
Tuesday blogger panel. Rob Silver and I are teamed up against a pair of teenage Libertarians.
One of them has a heart condition and Mike Brock, well, he don't look too mobile. Since you can't kill what you can't catch, I think we'll do okay.

Andrew Lawton is not a libertarian, he repeats talking points from American talk radio.
Well, I sure *this* is going to be and experience that provides fresh insight and uncovers bold, new constellations of meaning.
Sheesh, just be sure to wash your hands immeadiately afterwards and make sure to shower throughly when you get home
Nothing can wash away the odour of desperation and datelessness those two at StrictlyRight exude from every pore.
Ok, that's mean. But still...
I am going to go out on a limb and guess that didn't exactly go as planned for you. :)
Ah, come on. What did Mike Brock ever do to you?
Actually, it went quite well. Coren is actually quite easy going and charming in that context.
I actually think the conversation kept to a relatively high level, never really degenerating into a shouting fest.
And, Mike, I suspected there would be a "surprise"; I figured though it would be more like a FreeD lynch mob slashing my tires.
In any case, it was worth trading an apology to you for the chance to say on TV that most of the argument contra the CHRC came initially from NeoNazi websites. Especially the bit about Neo Nazis complaining that they had done all Ezra's research for him. That was esp important to get out.
Trust me, I didn't come on the show to attack you. It was the last thing on my mind, really. It was your snide remarks on this blogpost I read on my iPhone on the way to the show that kind of roused my memory.
There was no surprise planned.
You must have mentioned it previously, though. Michael introduced the segment as being about "personal business" or some such thing.
Nope. I think that was purely in regards to your comments about Andrew's medical condition which Andrew had discussed prior to the show.
Truth be told, I didn't have a conversation with Michael at all prior to the show, except for a basic handshake and pleasantries.
Right. Did I apologize to him or not?
Yes you did. I was simply clarifying whether or not I had a hand in planning any such team-up on you. I didn't.
I originally had planned to just express my grievance during the break and/or after the show. But when the issue was brought to the agenda, I guess I just said what I thought had to be said.
I'm being 100% honest when I say that I didn't come into that studio with malice.
Did Brock sound like he'd been on a steady diet of caffeine and/or energy drinks?
Brock sounds fairly common sense. probably the most subdued of the lot of us.
Oh dear. It went that bad, did it?
I missed it, anyway.
You'll see it on youtube. I might do a poll as to how much sexxxier I am than my co-panelists. However, my wife says Silver is quite sexy, so there might be some actual drama involved.
