For example, this column still remains on the Macleans website. In it, Steyn accuses CHRC investigator Dean Steacy of illegal acts, based on the say-so of a couple of Neo-Nazis. When the RCMP cleared Mr. Steacy, what did we get out of Macleans or Mr. Steyn? Nada.
And speaking of illegal acts, it look Shaidle's husband, in the context of his endless Muslim bashing, is down to publishing kiddy-porn. I'm not going to link to him, but it seems to me that he has gone to a very dark place, and then decided it wasn't dark enough.

I must admit to having been a fan of Mr. Steyn's provocative style. In the last while though he seems to have gone off the rails and I am very disappointed. This latest error he committed is another example of his carelessness and and poor behaviour.
Maclean's certainly recognized the seriousness of the error and to its credit offered one of the fullest apologies I have seen from any publication. CJC's response given the potential damage done by Mr. Steyn's misrepresentations was actually not as strong as it could have been. Then again the CJC is a mainstream group that likes to play fair. Perhaps it will be a sobering lesson for Steyn himself.

The thing I kind of like about the Robber Baron's Catamite is how easily riled up he is. I'm sure a five year-old could get him into a state of apoplexy so acute he'd spend the next two years denouncing juices boxes and nap time.

I know yours was an attempt at humour but by doing so you minimize the behaviour of Steyn. Its almost as if you give him permission by making a gratuitous comment.
I thought that the CJC response should have been much stronger. It is a respectable organization that Mr. Steyn has accused of supporting anti-Semitism and those who would want to hurt Jews. Surely that must come close to libel!!

I have a rabbinic ruling that instead of donating to Likud you can donate to a cause that I care about. For you NDP'ers you can donate to the same cause but support Jack Layton. The event has taken place but I think the site still is up. So are you saying that Machetegate is real? The MSM is awfully quiet, likely because the Gatineau police haven't said anything yet.

Farber caught Steyn with his pants down and good on him. Trouble I suspect for Farber who will become the next target of Steyn's questionable attacks and bullying tactics.
Though Farber has been around the corner on such thugs so hopefully he will weather the storm.
Muscocamoca, I woudn't worry too much about Farber, this is the same guy who stood down the now deceased Wolfgang Droege who had put him on an assasination hitlist.
He also survived Bill White, leader of the American Nazi party now serving time in an American prison, who called for his death on the internet. Steyn is a pissant in comparision.
What a disappointment Mark Steyn has turned out to be. I could accept that he made a stupid error I cannot accept his attitude. His refusal to apologize to the Jewish Congress tells me more about mrk Steyn than I ever need to know.
