Like Scholotzky's Delis, the conservative think tanks offer a very limited menu: They publish reports advocating deregulation, privatization, property rights, school choice and a few other topics. And each produces reports that sound the same as others, just as an order at any Scholotzky's tastes the same.
Weirdly enough, I actually know (have spoken with, e-mailed) one of the "villains" of the piece, a fellow named Wendell Cox who has done some work for the Wisconsin Policy Research Institute. He has also produced research on international housing costs which I have occasionally found quite useful. Small world.

I didn't see that in The Manning Centre's "Vision Statement." Thank you for pointing out that they're lying., although that certainly comes as no surprise.
