At Least We'll Always Have Moncton

While a number of recent surveys have shown Tories on the March across the Maritimes, the latest by Bristol Omnifacts Research indicates that the Liberals appear pretty safe for the time being, certainly within New Brunswick, although their "support is lower than it was at the outset of either the 2004 or 2006 election campaigns."

Liberal support stood at 46 per cent, Conservative support at 38 per cent and NDP at 13 per cent in the poll.

Furthermore, the same poll shows a six point Liberal lead across Atlantic Canada:

"Right now, [said University of New Brunswick-Saint John political scientist Don Desserud] I see the poll pointing to a stand-pat scenario," he said, or a repeat of the 2006 election result in which the Liberals won six seats in the province, the Conservatives three and the New Democrats one."

There. I feel better now. Do you feel better now?

It's a veritable Harper/Conserva-Republican love-fest in The Globe today. Christie Blatchford swoons over Sarah Palin, Rex Murphy bends over, grabs his ankles and start backing towards Big Daddy, the editorial cartoon insults Dion and everywhere, the talk is about personality, which The Globe still insists Harper has.

You know, it was just few months ago that I was lamenting the demise of print journalism. Now, it can't go away fast enough for me.

Oh, thanks goodness.

When I first read the title, I thought you'd meant "We;d always have Monckton",. i.e., the Viscount, and I was concerned.

Compared to Dion . . . Harper is JayLeno . . .
Moncton is a perfect example of what a liberal governed Canada should look like. Dependent, stagnant and waiting for the next hand-out.

Ti-Guy . . . I suspect even you would have to admit that the US MSM is totally Progressive/Liberal/Marxist after watching them tear out their hair over Sarah. These folks make the National Enquirer look respectable.
Seems Sarah has more experience than O'bambi and Biden combined.

O'bambi's own words tell us a lot about him . . .
"I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets." - Barack Obama (Dreams of My Father)

Obama the 'Chosen One' chose these friends:
Marxist Professors
Structural Feminists (anti capitalists)
Activist Black Students
Mentor Wright - Black separatist and Mentor.
James Cone - Black Separatist and racist.
Saul Alinsky - Communist 'Community Organizer'.
William Ayers - Radical anarchist.
Fr.Pfleger - Radical religionist and race baiter.
Louis Farrakhan - Radical Islamist and racist.
Tony Rezco - Convicted felon and thief.
Frank Marshall - Communist and Obama Mentor.
Many other 'Radical Leftists'.
