Get out a blast on this before the Tories or NDP and make it a good one. Its the most important single event that is likely to occur during the election campaign.
I am a Liberal, and I think Dion has spent too much time on the Green Shift, as a friend said, it came to the point of " ad nauseam." Who is advising him what to do..he is being left behind, because people are not hearing much else. I just wish Dion could give a speech not even mentioning the Green plan. and say what he woild like to do, from his heart.
I agree, and I am a big supporter of the Green Shift. However, I don't like the fact that it is a lens through which every other issue seems to be focused.
What else would you like to see Dion talking about?
IMHO, The Green Shift represents Dion's vision for the country - the economy, the environment, and social justice. It *is* the lens through which almost all of the other issues should be focused.
This is kind of a good point. Where IS the Liberal War Room? The Tories have been quite open about theirs--partially to their detriment--and it might do the Libs some good on the "toughness" issue if they're seen to have their own operation ticking along.

Or just give a Connie more fodder for ridicule and lies? Who knows.
Remember...the Conservatives (and their corporate media partners-in-crime) don't care if people aren't talking about actual issues, right or left, popular or elitist, grass-roots or top-down; they just want people to stop paying attention and to stop thinking.
If you want to know what the Liberals are doing, go to a local event the Liberals are hosting.
Since the Liberals seem wedded to the Green Shift, they should continue to reaffirm to the public that the plan would not harm the economy or take the government back into deficit. But since the Liberal's heart doesn't seem to be in this election, I doubt they will be able to accomplish that.

What people are hearing is what the media is reporting. Remember that.

Dion's recognition among the public is so strongly tied to the Green Shift that I doubt he can shift it to something else.

Something you no doubt know by conducting an exhaustive population survey during an extended stay in your own rectum.
Were the peanuts talking to you, Paul?
