Just Do It

Dawg On Iggy: can the endless self-referentiality.

PS. I have just finished capturing and hand clubbing tonight's bird. After a quick break, I will begin ripping its feathers out with my teeth. Have yourself a good one!

That town ain't big enough for two aloof, out-of-touch academics.

Anyway, I'm not sure Iggy can "lift the frame" (he actually mimed the action when he spoke the words...someone please tell him to stop doing that). The culture has become deeply hostile to anyone who needs more than 30 seconds to explain something.

I actually witnessed some American educator on TVO's The Agenda two weeks ago claiming, in all seriousness, that anything that can't be said in a tweet is not worth saying. Of course, that short, arresting statement was intended to communicate a lot more, but there wasn't enough time left in the show to examine that.

Actually that was MacDonald on Iggy, but he did put it well.

Happy Thanksgiving, BCL.

So much made of the "I" thing. Ridiculous.

Layton refers to "I" many, many more times in his book, but hey let's not discuss that.
