The Onion Ring

VS.

...is far more popular than Sun TV. Facebook doesn't lie. On the other hand, we now have an idea of Sun's potential audience, although I think 793 viewers will prove to be on the high-side. Some of them will undoubtedly drop their channel changer under the couch and pass out face-down trying to find it.

Now be fair BCL. The Onion Ring has been on Facebook for awhile & Fox North has only just appeared. ;)

There is no "fair" when it comes to mocking right wing a-holes ;)

There needs to be a fairer comparison, say between Fox News North and a seriously inflamed, haemorrhoidal anus.

It is similar to an onion ring, mind you, being a ring-like structure.

Mark, you're suggesting we compare Fox News North to one of their brightest stars?

This whole appeal for wanting 'real analysis' and 'true thinking' is so awfully disingenuous. Why don't they just come out and say that the 'sharp analysis' they prefer is really news and opinion that comfortably dovetails with all their predictable political sensibilities?

Not once have I seen them cite a study that would examine something as simple as frequency of reporting, which could operate as a proxy for measuring bias. All you get is appeals to incredulity. The tenor of their criticism of CBC has only been amplified because the CPC is in power, and the CBC, like they did with the previous governing party, were particular in reporting the follies of those in power.

It is just a clear case of projection. As much as they champion 'liberty,' they suffer from epistemic closure on orders of magnitude than any chimerical progressive bogeyman they can concoct with their wild imagination. If you want a good example of that, ask John Tory how those same neo-cons treated him.
