More On The UVIC Break In

...when hackers apparently attempted to steal data from the Centre for Climate Modeling and Analysis:

According to sources at the University of Victoria, two people claiming to be network computer technicians presented themselves at the headquarters of the Canadian Centre for Climate Modeling and Analysis and tried to gain access to the data servers. When challenged by an employee, the two individuals hastily left. The timing of this attempted break-in is very suspicious given that it occurred so closely on the heels of the release of hacked emails and data from a similar facility housed at the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in the UK.

...which is to say that the CRU hack is starting to look like one in a coordinated series.

5178Don't bother with the data, hide it in allegations of theft and grand conspiricy to destroy the work of honest scientists. If there is no distirtion, why not make the data available to all scientists then have a frank discussion without the scare tactics. The leaked emails so far seem to support that data has been manipulated and even destroyed to advance the point of view of one side.

Tough losing your theology isn't it. Must be like the Aztecs felt when the sun came up one morning without their High Priests running to the East and praying & chanting.

Denial is one of the stages on the road to healing. Good on ya.

I'm not sure if inventing whacko conspiracy theories makes the healing grade.

Keep trying, eco salvation awaits.

You can go out and buy that Hummer you have always wanted.

You're not heroic, Fredtard. You're just a dime-store hood.

The Pentagon Papers ?

And they were released by one of contributors -- Daniel Ellsberg. Wrong thing to compare an attempted theft of data to.
