Bottom line: he still wins, but might face a fine of up to $500.

Albertans only care if "lefties" break the rules. It is perfectly fine for right wing parties and candidates to do so.

I should say conservatives only care - which is really the same thing as saying "Albertans".

Alert! You are being denounced for your absence of a correct opinion on the Liberal Party's actions with respect to the Canada-Colombia free trade agreement.

I wasn't singling BCL out. All Libs are cynical hypocrites without values or real principles.

It's not a "free trade" deal anyway. We do a whopping $1 million in trade with Colombia, so, besides bankrupting a few more peasants, that aspect of the treaty isn't important. It's the protection of our $1 billion mining investments that's at stake here, with suitable clauses to enable the Colombian government to be sued if it dares to introduce environmental or labour standards.

Red Librocons or Blue Librocons, same gang. What's a few dead trade unionists, peasants or Indians? It's not like they're voters or anything.

Correction: the $1 million is the amount of Colombian investment in Canada.

Point stands, though. The treaty is a way of protecting our mining interests and profits. And of course the Librocons have always danced to corporate tunes, no matter who gets killed in the process.

I met Hinman once. He was a putz then and looks like still is today.

Oh stow it, you sanctimonious hippy holdover.

Truth hurts, eh, little guy?

You hippies have been screaming at people who don't matter about these awful trade agreements for two decades now. Tell me, has that ever worked?

Seems to me you should be taking it up with the economists who can't stop recommending them.

I promise, I won't vote Liberal in the next election (which will cause Don Valley-West to go NDP and not CON, no doubt) There. Problem solved.
