Here's the English one:
For a second I thought it was being filmed against a backdrop, but you can actually see the milkweed(?) in the background blow in the wind. Not bad: Iggy against a arch-typical Canadian backdrop, a quick out-reach to two of our larger ethnic groups. Positive but not too saccharine, and a quick shot of his fangs at the end to show he's a serious dude.
But I am more an old testament (kill 'em all and put their village to the torch) kind of guy, so I like the French environmental ad better even though my French is crap:
The background is dark as Iggy outlines the Conservatives perfidy, and begins to lighten as he moves onto the Liberal solution. Simple symbolism, but effective. On the whole slightly negative, but not crude or thuggish.
The "deficit" ad is very like this one.

Kudos to the guy who put Iggy in the woods. Very soothing feel, a great introductory vibe for him.
this ad sucks and plays right into the 'just visiting' meme.
Geez Northern PoV - would you rather have a blue sweater vest and a kitten on his lap?
This ad is very calming, but the Cons cannot leave it alone. Harper with his blues sweater cannot even come close to that...nothing calming about Harper.
LMAO....good slogan but the messaging is backwards
should read
Liberal
We can do better
ouch that was painfully lame.
Why don't you try out "Take My Wife... please" jokes next Mr Ed?
