Time For a Witch Hunt!

What "uninvestigated scandals" will new Democratic Majorities in the House and (hopefully) the Senate be investigating? Here is the short list:

Haliburton
The CIA (Secret Prison Program)
Big Tobacco Companies
Katrina and Gulf Coast re-building
KBR (Kellogg Brown and Root, a subsidiary of Haliburton)
The Cunningham scandal
Pre-war intelligence: Who forged the Niger documents?
Convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff
The Northern Marianas Islands (somehow connected with Abramoff)
Tom DeLay
President Bush for violating the law on Iraq (up to and including impeachment hearings, maybe) Medicare policies
Energy policies

Accountability time for the American Conservative Movement! President Bush in an Orange Jumpsuit! Vice-President Cheney in a prison marriage to the convict with the most cigarettes! Oh, what a glorious time to be alive!

I wonder if they'll be checking out inappropriate contacts and money transfers between the Bush administration and the Conservative Blogosphere. Are any of these folks like Jeff Gannon of the now defunct Talon News, the gay prostitute hired by the GOP to masquerade as a journalist and lob softball questions at presidential press conferences? Not that I'd want to see John H. Hinderaker of Powerline, for example, in the clink, desperately trying to learn how to fight or dance. But it would be nice to see him have a big "L" for Loser branded onto his ass, and be made to drop his pants and display the mark before each appearance on CNN.

Don't worry John, or Captain Ed, or Kate, if you're innocent you've got nothing to worry about!
